Overshown has been working his way back from a torn ACL, MCL, and PCL that he suffered in Week 14 of the 2024 season. Despite the brutal injury, he attacked his recovery, and the Cowboys expected him to return to action before Thanksgiving.
Revel is the Cowboys’ third-round pick out of East Carolina. He suffered a torn ACL of his own in his final season with the school and was placed on the NFI (Non-Football Injury) list to start the 2025 season.
Now, both Overshown and Revel are set to return to action and have been activated for Week 11.

Overshown was in the midst of a Pro Bowl season before his injury occurred, as he picked up one interception, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, five sacks, and 90 combined tackles prior to his gruesome injury.
Revel had eight tackles and two interceptions in his senior season before tearing his ACL.
One of the biggest issues for the Cowboys has been on defense, but owner and general manager Jerry Jones upgraded the unit by bringing in linebacker Logan Wilson and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams ahead of the trade deadline.
The team had a much-needed Week 10 bye and they are returning with a lot of additions on defense. Overshown should make an immediate impact, and Revel may work his way into a starting role.
Dallas has an important Week 11 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. With a rested and healthy defense, things may change in favor of the Cowboys moving forward.
