The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams has gone Instagram official with girlfriend Patrice “Sway” McKinney.

Williams, 44, took to Instagram on Friday, November 28, to share a carousel of photos and videos featuring Sway in honor of her birthday. One snap showed Sway hugging Williams from behind as the reality star threw her head back in a laugh, while another showed the pair embracing in a sweet hug as Sway kissed Williams on the cheek. In a third photo, Sway and Williams posed for a selfie.

“🎉Happiest Birthday @sway_thepro Hope this year continues to bring you everything you want and more! 🥂🍾 Can’t wait to act up Saturday!” Williams captioned the post.

Sway commented, “Thank you P! I appreciate you. 🫶🏽.”

Fans and friends celebrated the couple bringing their relationship to social media.

“NOT THE HARD LAUNCH PORSHEEEERRRRR!!!!! 🔥,” Wild ‘N Out star Jessie Woo wrote in the comments section.

“That’s a way to celebrate everythingggggggg!!!” Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Bozoma Saint John added.

“Happy looks amazing on you — I love to see it. There’s a special kind of freedom that comes from living life on your own terms. 😘,” one fan commented, while another wrote, “I love ittt 💕.”

Williams first revealed that she was dating a woman in early October at New York City’s CultureCon. At the time, she told the audience that she was “talking to” two people, a man and a woman.

“The people who I’m talking to now … it’s just two, I narrowed it down to two, and he is nice and she is nice,” she said.

Williams continued, “I really just wanted to make sure that these were normal people. And what I talked to my therapist the other day was, I’m having a hard time opening up because they’re not narcissists and guess what narcissists do? They … mirror you, and these people are not, they’re challenging you, they’re asking me questions, they’re not letting me walk over them.”

Williams’s relationship with Sway is her first public romance since her divorce from husband Simon Guobadia. The Bravolebrity filed for divorce from the executive producer after 15 months of marriage in February. While the split was reported just days after Us Weekly confirmed Guobadia, 61, was detained by ICE, a source told People at the time that their breakup was unrelated to the executive producer’s citizenship status.

Us confirmed that the Nigeria native was deported back to his home country in June after several months in detainment. His divorce from Williams was finalized that same month.

Guobadia later formally appealed their initial divorce judgment, which saw Williams receive spousal support and various other assets. However, a judge denied the appeal, Us exclusively reported in September.

During a March episode of RHOA, Williams opened up about her changing relationship with Guobadia.

“One of my joys was getting up in the morning and just thinking about what I could do to make [Simon] happy, and I genuinely felt he was the same way about me,” Williams said in a confessional. “I would have rode to the end of the world with this man, but the person I’m now mourning, he was not real.”
