Some of the biggest names in Hollywood have headed north for the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) The 49th edition of the event, held from Sept. 5 to 15, offers A-list celebrities and indie film darlings the chance to turn heads and generate some serious awards season buzz in the process.
From Angelina Jolie to Pamela Anderson, there’s been no shortage of star sightings for movie fans. Jennifer Lopez, Sydney Sweeney and Demi Moore all brought their fashion A-game to the red carpet for their film premiers and the TIFF party circuit. But which stars have worn head-turning looks that range anywhere between elegant and enchanting? Below are some of the best looks celebrities have worn at this year’s festival in Toronto.
Angelina Jolie
Jolie went for understated glamour at the premiere of her film “Without Blood.” Jolie, directed the feature, looked elegant in a black Dolce & Gabbana dress with slight mermaid hem, paired with classic shoulder length gloves.
Pamela Anderson
Pamela Anderson wore a monochrome look to the TIFF after party of her film The Last Showgirl. The actress paired her sleeveless knit turtleneck top with a knee-length black skirt and classic black pumps for the event. Despite portraying a Las Vegas dancer, Anderson kept her glam to a minimum; the 59-year-old looked fresh-faced in little to no makeup.
Cate Blanchett
Cate Blanchett arrived to the TIFF Tribute Awards in a glamorous patterned Givenchy gown with architectural bodice detail. The statuesque star pulled off the high-fashion look that was paired with statement Louis Vuitton jewelry.

She accessorized with Tiffany & Co. diamond vine drop earrings, Jean Schlumberger’s Sea Star Brooch on her hip and two statement diamond rings.
Brenda Song
Brenda Song rocked the red carpet for the premiere of The Last Showgirl, wearing a vintage Stella McCartney gown for the event. The 36-year-old actress stunned in the black dress that featured hip cutouts and a scoop neckline embellished with five hanging diamond necklace-like pieces.
Kiernan Shipka
Kiernan Shipka also opted for black for the red carpet of the premiere of The Last Showgirl. The 24-year-old actress wore a sleeveless gown from Elie Saab for the event, which featured a sleek skirt that fell to the floor and a see-through crochet bodice.
Jamie Lee Curtis
Jamie Lee Curtis added a pop of colour for her outfit for the premiere of The Last Showgirl. The 65-year-old actress wore a bright red sheer, long-sleeve buttoned shirt. The oversized top was tucked into a long black pencil skirt that featured a snakeskin pattern.
Florence Pugh
Florence Pugh looked grandiose at the premiere of We Live In Time, wearing a large pink couture gown from Tamara Ralph. The strapless piece featured a V-shaped neckline that was adorned with a large black ribbon and flower, leaving the 28-year-old actress looking like a Barbie doll cake.

Amy Adams went for elegance at the “Road to the Golden Globes Party,” wearing an off-the-shoulder navy blue custom gown from Prada. The 50-year-old actress shined in the body-hugging piece, which featured numerous vertical shining embellishments and long sleeves.
