The Buffalo Bills are coming off a Week 12 loss to the Houston Texans and have dropped to 7-4 on the season ahead of their Sunday clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5).

Ahead of the game, the NFL made a prestigious announcement on Wednesday, revealing the 32 nominations for the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award, which recognizes players from each team who “exemplify outstanding sportsmanship.”

Representing the Bills is quarterback Josh Allen, one of just four QBs nominated this year, alongside Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers, and Los Angeles Rams’ Matthew Stafford.

Interestingly, the 2024 winner of the award was also Josh Allen. He is one of just three other quarterbacks to earn the honor over the last decade, joining Teddy Bridgewater, who won in 2020, and former NFL legend Drew Brees, who was the recipient in 2018.

Allen has never shied away from recognizing the efforts of his teammates or showing respect to opponents in triumph or defeat — qualities that helped him win the award last year, which was announced the same night he earned his first MVP.

While Allen isn’t currently having another MVP-level campaign this season, he has still been very productive, completing 69.7% of his passes for 2,709 yards, 18 touchdowns, and just nine interceptions, while adding 70 carries for 371 yards and 10 rushing touchdowns.
