The body of a “murdered” man was found in a parking lot near a posh Long Island yacht club, Suffolk County police said Tuesday.
Christopher Millwater, 52, was found steps away from the Stony Brook Yacht club on Monday at around 3:40 a.m., according to police.
Millwater had been the “victim of violence,” cops said though they didn’t elaborate.
He was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, officials said.
The parking lot is reportedly used for several marinas in the ritzy North Shore suburb, as well as for parking for the town of Brookhaven boat ramp at Stony Brook.
