Selling the OC star Tyler Stanaland and his fiancée, Hannah Morrissey, got married less than one month after announcing their engagement.
“The wedding and getting to marry my best friend was an absolute dream come true in every way,” Stanaland, 36, told People in an interview published on Thursday, December 4, noting that he and Morrissey eloped weeks earlier. “It was fun and intimate and intentional and about all the things it should be — two families becoming one and a celebration of love.”
Stanaland and Morrissey exchanged vows on November 22 in an intimate ceremony in Laguna Beach, California, with just family members and dog Honey in attendance.
Speaking to People, the real estate agent revealed that their wedding was “intentionally untraditional.”
“[It was] more of an intimate, anti-wedding elopement,” Stanaland explained. “As Christians, being married is super important to both of us and I feel so lucky to have met someone like Hannah. We want to build a life together, till death do us part.”
He continued, “Having a true partner like her is something I’ve always wanted and can honestly say I’ve never experienced before. It’s a really beautiful thing when you find it.”
Us Weekly broke the news in May that Stanaland had started dating Morrissey following his divorce from actress Brittany Snow.
“While it’s relatively new, they’re having a lot of fun,” a source exclusively told Us. “They’ve been traveling a bit together, and Tyler’s really happy.”
Stanaland proposed five months later during a road trip up the coast of California.
“Last week, in the very place we road tripped to shortly after we first met, I asked the best person I’ve ever known for forever,” the Netflix reality TV star wrote via Instagram in October. “When the right person enters your life, it’s not just love, it’s a transformation. All the uncertainties are replaced with peace and partnership.”
According to Stanaland, his relationship with Morrissey is “magic” since they are “aligned on all the important things” in life.
“I have never had more fun or been more inspired and challenged in all the best ways,” he concluded. “My cup is absolutely overflowing by this beautiful little family we’re creating.”
Stanaland was previously married to Snow, now 39, from 2020 to 2022.
“After time and consideration, Britt and I have made the difficult decision to separate. This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another,” Stanaland wrote via social media in September 2022, “We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives.”
Snow filed for divorce in January 2023, and the proceedings were finalized the following July. The Hunting Wives star has also since moved on with Hunter Moreno, who recently proposed after nearly a year of dating.
“Brittany and Hunter are so private and low-key, they just started telling friends recently within the last few weeks,” a second source exclusively told Us in November. “It happened about a month ago. It was low-key and private. He treats her well. They are both very low-key people.”
Neither Snow nor Stanaland have publicly addressed one another’s new romances.
