The Dallas Cowboys took on the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday, and they showed off an improved offense and defense, which helped them earn a 33-16 road victory.

The win ended a two-game losing streak for the Cowboys and extended the Raiders’ losing streak to four.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was especially accurate on Monday, clocking four touchdown passes and handling the Raiders’ defense quite easily. During the game, the Cowboys took to social media to announce that Prescott had surpassed a franchise great for a historic milestone.

Following Monday’s game, Prescott now has 41 games with three or more touchdown passes in his decade-long career, breaking the Cowboys franchise record previously held by current CBS Sports analyst Tony Romo, who had 40 games with three or more touchdown passes from 2003 to 2016.

“Dak Prescott has 41 career games with at least three passing touchdowns, moving past Tony Romo for the most three-touchdown games in franchise history,” Dallas Cowboys Public Relations announced on X. “Prescott has four passing touchdowns tonight, and his 13 games with four-plus touchdown passes are the most in franchise history and tied for the seventh-most in an NFL player’s first 10 seasons.”

Prescott’s 2-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Flournoy gave him four for the game. It’s also the seventh-most through a player’s first 10 seasons in the history of the league.

Cowboys Announce Massive Roster News Ahead of Raiders Matchup

Monday’s game also allowed the Cowboys to show off one of their newest additions, defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, who was acquired from the New York Jets at the trade deadline. Williams, as well as new linebacker Logan Wilson, did a solid job of disrupting Raiders quarterback Geno Smith and helped the Cowboys’ defense have one of its strongest performances of the season.

The Cowboys will take some momentum into their next game next Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles at home.
