After a surprising conclusion to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night, season 34 is celebrating 20 years of Dancing With the Stars — but what performances can viewers look forward to?
ABC released details ahead of the Tuesday, November 11, episode about the night, which features former host Tom Bergeron as the guest judge alongside Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli.
The opening number will be choreographed by Hough, 40, set to a reimagined live version of the DWTS theme song by Ray Chew, and will include current pros and the troupe plus six original pros from season 1: Alec Mazo, Ashly DelGrosso, Louis van Amstel, Jonathan Roberts, Charlotte Jorgensen and Edyta Śliwińska.
The show will then honor late DWTS performers with a dance to Lady Gaga’s “Always Remember Us This Way,” choreographed and performed by Ezra Sosa and Rylee Arnold.
Partner dances, which will showcase a new style to a past freestyle dance, include a Foxtrot by Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, a Cha Cha by Jordan Chiles and partner Sosa and more. Later, the Relay Dance will return before an exciting new twist will see celebrities dancing without their pros, instead joining forces with a returning Mirrorball champion to perform a Quickstep, Viennese Waltz or Jive.
