Dillon Brooks and LeBron James do not like each other.

They can wear a Lakers jersey, Grizzlies jersey, Cavs jersey, heck — they could be on the same team wearing the same jersey, and they still would dislike each other.

Brooks is having a career year in Phoenix, and that has come with multiple run-ins with James, the two going at it each time they’re on the same court together. Although Brooks feels he’s gotten the upper hand in their most recent meetings, a last-second call in their previous game gave James the team victory over him and the Suns.

On Saturday, Brooks continued his tour of poking the bear that is one of the greatest basketball players of all time, this time off the court.

The Suns’ forward was streaming with livestreamer Rangesh “N3on” Mutama, who has recently linked up with West Coast athletes such as Puka Nacua and Mookie Betts.

While riding in the back of a car with thousands watching online, N3on broached the subject of who Brooks believes is the most overrated player currently in the NBA.

After thinking about it for a second, his shot was aimed at who you’d most expect: “King” James.

“I would probably say LeBron right now,” Brooks said. “I feel like he overrated right now. I feel like his time is coming to an end.”

Brooks suggested that James should be looking to pass the torch of the league’s face to one of the “world” guys, like his teammate Luka Doncic or reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

He also delved deeper into their rivalry, showing respect for James as a legend but reinforcing that he will never go easy on him, regardless of his status or age.

“When you’re on the floor, and it’s between those four lines, it doesn’t matter if you’re LeBron James or my grandmother,” he said. “It’s war from when the [whistle] sounds to the end of the game.”
