One decade later, Trailer Park Boys is set to make a comeback in 2026 amid lead actor Mike Smith’s sexual assault allegations.
According to Deadline, the Canadian mockumentary series, which last aired in 2018, finished filming its 13th season in August 2025.
Trailer Park Boys follows the adventures of a group of ex-convict residents — Julian (John Paul Tremblay), Bubbles (Smith) and Ricky (Robb Wells) — who live in the fictional Sunnyvale Trailer Park in Nova Scotia.
Nearly two months after wrapping season 13, Smith was charged in connection with an alleged assault that took place in December 2017 in Dartmouth.
According to a November 2025 report from CBC News, Smith was ordered not to communicate with the alleged victim or visit their school, workplace or home for the time being.

In the season 12 finale of Trailer Park Boys, released in March 2018, Julian, Bubbles and Ricky are arrested and end up in prison. To try to avoid a longer sentence, the three men eat two bags of hallucinogenic mushrooms, causing the characters to hallucinate and see themselves as animated versions of themselves.

According to Deadline, Tremblay, Wells and Smith are all set to return in season 13.
“Feels like it’s been a while,” Smith told the outlet, while Wells asked, “Is this a f***ing dream?” and Tremblay added, “We need to celebrate this s***!”
Aside from the three leads, other returning cast members include Patrick Roach, Cory Bowles, Jacob Rolfe, Jeanna Harrison, Sarah Dunsworth-Nickerson, Tyrone Parsons, Sam Tarasco, Bernie Robichaud, George Green, Brian Heighton, Garnet Estabrooks, Michael Oliver, Terence Lucas, Michael Kennedy and David Rossetti.

Is Mike Smith Still Involved in the Trailer Park Boys Production Company?
Although Smith will star in the series, the actor “stepped away” from his role as managing director of Smith, Wells and Tremblay’s production company, Trailer Park Boys Inc.
“We are aware of the allegation concerning Mike Smith dating back to 2017 and take such matters seriously,” the company said in a statement in November 2025. “We recognize how difficult an allegation of this nature is for all involved. Out of respect for the legal process, we will not comment further on the case.”
