A police officer has been dismissed from the force following a slew of alleged domestic violence offences spanning two years and multiple victims, including charges of stalking, detaining and seriously injuring a young woman.
Max Marshall was arrested in Silverwater Correctional Centre on Wednesday after being charged with four counts of domestic-violence related assault, including one assault occasioning grievous bodily harm, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, one count of assault, and one count of reckless wounding for offences alleged to have taken place in 2023 and 2024.

All of these matters remain before the courts and none have been proven.
He has been in custody since December 3 after allegedly assaulting a different woman at a home in Mortlake.
Marshall is accused of stalking the 21-year-old between 1am and 4am that day, before assaulting her, then taking or detaining her, causing actual bodily harm. The 21-year-old woman required hospitalisation for injuries to her leg and face.
He is accused of then breaking into her home with the intent to stalk and intimidate her. He was arrested at 1pm. While in police custody, he was allegedly found to have cannabis and weapons ammunition on him. He was charged with nine offences and denied bail.
The 28-year-old was a probationary Constable in the central metropolitan region command and was off-duty at the time.
He was dismissed from NSW Police on December 5.
His fresh charges relating to the alleged incidents in 2023 and 2024 were heard in Burwood court on Thursday. He did not apply for bail, and it was formally refused.
