Gavin Newsom suffered a ruthless send-up at the hands of former SNL star and late-night host Seth Meyers during the governor’s appearance on Live with Jimmy Kimmel! Tuesday night.

Newsom chuckled awkwardly as Meyers continued with his act, with Kimmel asking what the trophy was made from.

“Plated with platinum that was ethically sourced from all my expired AMEX cards. And it holds an entire magnum of this thick-a– Sauv Blanc,” Meyers replied.

Kimmel opened his show by jokingly suggesting that Newsom was there to announce a run for president.
