The World Series has gone above and beyond expectations this year and is set up for one of the best finishes in recent memory. Tied at 2-2, the winner of Game 5 will gain a massive advantage moving forward, as they will only need one more win to claim the trophy.
The Dodgers captured all the momentum with a second straight win in Game 3, which lasted 18 innings, but they failed to keep it going in Game 4 as they were only able to score one run in the loss. Blake Snell, who was the Game 1 starter, will take the mound for Los Angeles. He struggled in the series opener, but has otherwise been dominant during the postseason. Expect a bounce-back performance from Snell.
Trey Yesavage gets the start for the Blue Jays. He was able to limit Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers’ offense in the game, giving up only 2 runs. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will look to keep it rolling after homering off Ohtani in the last game. Toronto never looked back after Guerrero Jr. gave them the lead.
This is the last game in Los Angeles before the World Series moves back to Toronto for Game 6.
This is a great World Series matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
