The San Antonio Spurs have been one of the top stories in the NBA this season, getting off to a perfect 5-0 start, trailing only the 6-0 Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference standings, behind the unreal play of former No. 1 pick Victor Wembanyama.

Most recently, San Antonio took down a feisty Miami Heat team 107-101 behind 27 points, 18 rebounds, and six assists from Victor Wembanyama. Blossoming guard Stephon Castle also had a strong performance, putting up 21 points, six rebounds, and eight assists in the win.

On the season, Wembanyama is putting up outrageous marks, to the tune of 30.2 points, 14.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 4.8 blocks per game, looking every bit like the create-a-player video game character he was expected to be prior to getting to the NBA. If the French forward keeps up this pace, he might be looking at an MVP award in just his third campaign.

The Phoenix Suns, meanwhile, are a disappointing 2-4 thus far this season, though they are coming off a solid 118-96 win over the Utah Jazz. In the win over Utah, Phoenix was led by superstar 2-guard Devin Booker, who had 36 points, six rebounds, and nine assists in the win. With Kevin Durant off to Houston and Bradley Beal now in Los Angeles, the Suns are Booker’s team again, and he’s shown to be up to the task with his performances so far on the campaign.
