Influencer Sami Clarke and her estranged husband, JT Barnett, have put their home on the market following their split.
Us Weekly can confirm that the pair’s home was listed on Monday, October 6, for $1.39 million. The 4-bed, 3-bathroom home is located in Austin, Texas, and sits on a lot of nearly three acres.
Months after tying the knot in 2024, Clarke revealed in April that she and Barnett bought the property — which included an expansive grassy area with trees and a small creek.
“Well… WE BOUGHT OUR FIRST PROPERTY IN AUSTIN, TEXAS 🥹😆🤠,” Clarke wrote via Instagram at the time, alongside photos of the home. “This came as a surprise for JT & I! We have been so open to what is next. We decided to start looking in Austin since we’ve spending so much time out there with jts family and my second family @samispalter @andrewspalter.”
She continued, “Jt ended up finding this small town 10 minutes from downtown that we decided to go check out for fun. Well fam, when we touched down on this property, I felt gravity pulling me, the oak trees started speaking, and I started to have visions of our future on this property. We knew we had to take it, even if we didn’t know what was next, it was calling our name!! It is a full renovation, with three acres of an oasis we get to dream out and just play.”
Clarke gushed that she “could not be more excited” while also feeling “a gazillion other emotions that come with change and another chapter.”
“LA has been my home for 12 years!!!!” she wrote. “We know it will always be a part of our lives, so no plans of what is next here, just excited to keep flowing and let the world show us what they have planned! Excited to share all of the goodness with you guys 🥹♥️🫂🦋.”
Five months later, Clarke broke the news that she and Barnett decided to part ways.
“My life is shifting and I’m moving into a new chapter apart from JT,” Clarke wrote via her Instagram Story on Sunday, October 5. “It’s truly hard to put into words how tough this feels, but I trust it’s the right step for me. I’ll forever be grateful for the love and memories we shared for these past eight years together. Thank you for giving us space and grace as we move through this new chapter.”
Barnett, for his part, went on to address the separation in a separate Instagram Story.
“Hate that I have to post a personal PSA today: Sam and I have not been together for a bit, she chose to step away. I love her,” Barnett wrote on Sunday. “There’s been no relational issues & no drifting apart… just her own feeling & intuition that she needed to leave.”
He continued, “I don’t agree with this & I didn’t want this. I know who I am, what I want, what I provided and what we were. Our life has been fulfilling, happy & happy.”
While Barnett noted that he didn’t “want to share this” and doesn’t “want to talk about it,” he claimed that because the twosome have “lived a public life” he has no choice.
“This is a tragedy,” he concluded, “I miss the person I love and this whole thing has been really fkn sad.”
In a separate Instagram Story, Barnett shared that he wanted to upload more content relating to his work “because it’s what I have been using this account for.” He added, “Plus it’s been a great outlet and is something I genuinely enjoy. Appreciate all ur guys love & support.”
