Last week’s new moon in Gemini opened up a whole new world of possibilities, and this week brings us back down to Earth with some necessary reality checks. Mars enters slow and steady Taurus on the 9th, which means that there won’t be consistent access to get things started and face conflicts. But I know from experience (this is my own birth placement) that even though Mars in Taurus likes to avoid a problem until it gets unavoidable, once it does decide to get off the couch? That energy is powerful. No matter how hard to come by. Another sign to pump the brakes is when the sun squares off with Saturn on the 9th: a check-in point around ego and life goals.
Mars squares off with Pluto on the 11th bringing up power struggles that leave us tongue tied as Mercury squares off with Saturn on the 12th. That being said, the Mercury cazimi (when Mercury goes into the heart of the sun) on the 14th is a day for clear insights and a much-needed reset for our communications. If you have to say something, try to wait it out until the weekend.

Your Monthly Horoscopes: June 2024

I’m going to give it to you straight Aries: it’s no longer worth the effort to try to fit in where you’re not happy. As your ruling planet Mars enters Taurus and your money sector on the 9th, you’re determined to stick to your budget. But it’s those sneaky feelings of FOMO that are going to tempt you to overspend in revenge. Seriously though, is that girls trip even going to be any fun? I don’t think so. It’s better to focus your attention on the people who aren’t bleeding you dry.
This week’s mantra: “Surrender.”

Over the past few weeks, you’ve been stuck in your head, trying to expect the unexpected and control the uncontrollable. Mars moves into your sign on the 9th bringing all that heat down into your body. This is good in that it helps get you moving: back into a fitness or skincare routine. But all this extra energy might push you to go too hard too fast, so be mindful about that. Do what you can to stay cool. If it’s not already, what’s worth your passion and attention is made clear on the 14th.
This week’s mantra: “Simmer.”

After a spring of weathering more than the occasional existential crisis, it’s as if your confidence is hanging on by a thread. Mars barrels into Taurus and your unconscious sector on the 9th which may stir up some worries that you thought you left behind in May. Instead of getting caught up in the mind games though, try using that mental energy for meditation or a social media detox. A much needed reset and renewal comes on the 14th sparking some creative ideas that may turn into a longer term project.
This week’s mantra: “Verve.”

Whether last week’s new moon brought on enlightenment or anxiety, you begin the week with an urge to put yourself out there as Mars enters your social sector on the 9th. A lot of this month will be about the push-pull between connection and reflection, and you might be feeling pressure to make everything make sense at once. In a best case scenario, the Mercury cazimi on the 14th brings a sense of calm and clarity, something unconscious made conscious, and a reminder that thinking it doesn’t make it real.
This week’s mantra: “Breathe.”

You recently got a barrage of insights around next steps for your public image or career, and this week is when you’re ready to take action. Mars enters Taurus and your career sector on the 9th—which on the one hand might cause conflict with your boss so tread lightly there—but on the other hand gives you the courage to (slowly and steadily) make the cuts you need to make your job work for you. No matter what, your friends and coworkers are rooting you on, and especially show up for you on the 14th.
This week’s mantra: “Forward.”

This week’s push and pull is between Gemini and Pisces, which is to say: between the head and the heart. It’s OK to take a more fluid approach this time. It’s also OK to change your mind. Tension with a partner or friend about your “roles” (whether it’s making a relationship official or planning a bestie’s bachelorette) are more easily diffused when you’re flexible. You’ll have more time to pursue your big goals and make travel plans when you stop nitpicking over details anyway. Compromise is reached with much relief as Mercury meets the sun on the 14th.
This week’s mantra: “Matter.”

Whether you’re starting a new job, getting into a fitness routine or catching up on doctor’s appointments, a lot of your life is about taking care of business and getting things in order these days. This is a much-needed overhaul, but you’re feeling a little bogged down when it comes to pursuing your big dreams. Mars moves into Taurus and your shared resources sector on the 9th encouraging you to delegate, seek alternative funding and ask for help so you can pursue a larger vision.
This week’s mantra: “Reserve.”

How’s that search for a sugar daddy going? Your biggest challenge this month is finding enough resources to pursue your creativity, hobbies and passions. Your ruling planet Mars moves into Taurus on the 9th which means you might have to get used to a slower pace than usual when it comes to getting things done. You might also have to deal with some hot headed friends, dates and freelance clients along the way. Some timely financial advice on the 14th though is a reminder to keep your eye on the prize.
This week’s mantra: “Cooperate.”

You might have Dua Lipa’s “Training Season” stuck in your head, but in a way, your training season is just beginning! Mars enters Taurus and your house of health, fitness and daily routines on the 9th. Now’s the time to get serious about eating healthier, getting into shape or organizing your home office! Just remember to take it slow. Also, you don’t have to do it alone! Mercury meets the sun on the 14th making it a sweet day to hit the gym or cook a nice dinner with a partner or friend.
This week’s mantra: “Sweat.”

Breakthroughs in your work, health or fitness routine have made it clear that you need to make some big changes to your schedule. But before you rearrange everything thinking only about your job, personal trainer or dog walks, remember to prioritize creativity and dating too! Mars enters Taurus and your romance sector on the 9th heating up your sex life and adding intrigue to your hinge dates. Devoting more time to your passions makes your work day easier, and by the 14th, you gain insight on how to more fluidly structure your day.
This week’s mantra: “Satisfaction.”

Mars enters Taurus on the 9th prompting you to slow down. I know you feel like you’re in the middle of something and just want to keep churning it out, but there’s wisdom in staying at home and taking some rest. Mercury meets the sun on the 14th inspiring creative projects, exciting new hobbies, or a super fun and intellectually stimulating conversation on a date. Chill out and you might just find the person or project who truly matches your freak.
This week’s mantra: “Nest.”

Life gets super busy this week as Mars enters Taurus on the 9th bringing lots of conversations and moving parts to your daily schedule and routines. Remember to take it slow and enjoy the beautiful things and life along the way. Or, if you’re rushing across town to do some errands, make sure you stop and smell the roses! Then on the 14th, Mercury meets the sun encouraging you to do some home organizing which then leads to the nostalgia of flipping through photo albums and journals. You might receive some key insights from those pages so look closely!
This week’s mantra: “Flip.”
