Kourtney Kardashian paid tribute to sister Kim Kardashian on her 45th birthday.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, October 21, to share a carousel of throwback photos that captured Kim through the years, Kourtney, 46, captioned the post, “Best friends forever.”
The older sister kicked off her carousel with a stunning black and white snap of the pair posing back-to-back with matching bobs before launching into a hilarious photo of the duo sporting cosmetics to make them appear old and wrinkled.
Other throwbacks included the sisters’ momager Kris Jenner carrying baby Kourtney and Kim on each of her hips, the duo dressed in monochromatic figure-hugging ensembles, the sisters pouting in bikinis while enjoying a swim, dancing in full glam at night on a beach and partying together in a club.
Kourtney shared a frame of her carousel via her Instagram Stories, adding the caption, “I love you forever and always,” before posting another Instagram Story that featured a photo of the pair as toddlers. “When I was taller than you,” Kourtney captioned the adorable snap.
Her final Kim tribute was a short video filmed as the sisters posed in their old-person makeup.
Never one to be left out of an online Kardashian clan celebration, Khloe Kardashian shared her own collection of throwback photos via an Instagram carousel on Tuesday. “Happy Birthday to my sister, my best friend, my forever twin flame in chaos and greatness, @kimkardashian where you go, I go,” a lengthy caption from Khloe, 41, began. “Every year, I’m in awe of how you continue to evolve. Somehow, you keep leveling up in strength, grace, wisdom, and heart. You’ve always been powerful, but lately it feels like you’ve tapped into an even deeper layer of yourself, calmer yet more unstoppable, grounded yet still dreaming bigger than ever.”
The youngest sister of the trio continued, “Thank you for being my safe place, my biggest inspiration, my constant laugh, my gossip aficionado and my ride-or-die. You already know, I’ve got you in every lifetime. No matter where life takes us, I’ll always be right there cheering, protecting, and loving you through it all.”
Khloe’s carousel featured throwbacks spanning Kim buffing her nails and smiling sweetly for the camera, as well as Khloe and Kim posing together with metallic ‘90s makeup. She also included several solo snaps of Kim looking glamorous more recently, styled to perfection for events and dripping in bling for a selfie on a Venice canal as the pair attended Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos’ June wedding.
One particularly funny frame showed Kim flipping her middle finger while wrapped in a SKIMS Face Wrap aboard a plane. (Kim is the founder of SKIMS, which released the Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap to support the face and jawline in July.)
Kim marked her birthday online by sharing a string of additional Instagram Story tributes from high-profile friends including makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, Kris’ boyfriend Corey Gamble, singer Ciara and reality TV star Olivia Pierson. She also shared a TikTok video posted by daughter, North West, via the mother-daughter duo’s shared account on Tuesday night.
“Happy birthday to my mom, I love you so much and I hope you have the best birthday ever. Thank you for always being there for me and supporting me,” North, 12, whom Kim shares with ex-husband Kanye West, wrote over a selfie of the pair taken on a night out together.
