A man has been stabbed to death and another is in police custody after what is believed to have been a domestic dispute at a home in Sydney’s inner west.
Police were called to the Concord home about midday Sunday after concerns for the welfare of a resident were raised.
Inside the Spring Street property, officers found a man aged in his 30s with a stab wound to his chest, police said. He was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
Officers arrested a 41-year-old man, believed to have also lived at the home, and took him to Burwood police station, where he will be interviewed. He has not yet been charged.
Officers led the man, barefoot in a T-shirt and shorts, from the home with evidence bags on his hands.
A crime scene has been established at the home.
