Odell Beckham Jr., one of the most dynamic NFL wide receivers of the last decade, has faced challenges since tearing his ACL in the 2022 Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams.

After that, Beckham Jr. spent a season with the Baltimore Ravens before joining the Miami Dolphins last year, where he caught just nine passes. He has since remained unsigned, raising questions about whether the 32-year-old plans to continue his playing career.

This week, during an appearance on “The Pivot,” Beckham Jr. confirmed that a return to the NFL is in his plans, but first, he must serve a six-game suspension for PED use last season.

Days after the suspension was officially announced, Beckham Jr. shared a motivational message on Instagram, expressing his mindset and excitement for the future, which presumably includes playing in the NFL again.

“For the first time in a LONG time I feel more alive, more like myself, more connected to the inner child that has this optimistic outlook on life and the future. Been around the world once, seen it twice. It’s given me perspective and inspiration,” Beckham Jr. said Thursday. “I can’t wait to get back to what I was put here to do. May everything align with the personal growth and transformation that I’ve experienced and I’m continuing to try and get better with every day.”

Beckham Jr. also revealed that he feels like the best version of himself in years and is likely to be seeking a contending team to join later in the season as he looks to make an impact in this stage of his career. It was reported that he had talks with the Kansas City Chiefs, but nothing materialized in terms of striking a deal.

“Right now, Im able to say I’m the best version of myself, mind, body, and spirit that I’ve been in a LONGGGG time,” Beckham Jr. added. “I will own my circumstances but I’m gon stand on my truth cuz I kno who I am and  I will NOT let anything define me, shake me, or deter me from continuing on this journey of GROWTH. See you soooon…. LUV.”

Across his NFL career, which included his standout years with the New York Giants as well as stints with the Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, Ravens, and Dolphins, Beckham Jr. has recorded 575 receptions for 7,987 yards and 59 touchdowns. He is a one-time Super Bowl champion and a three-time Pro Bowler.
