New England Patriots owner and billionaire Robert Kraft has a new ring, and we’re not talking about the Super Bowl kind. On Oct. 14, 2022, Robert and Dana got married in a surprise and intimate wedding ceremony at the Hall des Lumières in New York City.
So, the two have been married for four years and are still going strong. Both Robert and Dana, of course, are expected to be at Super Bowl LX, when the New England Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks in San Francisco.
According to multiple reports, the couple started dating in 2017 and have stayed private about the details of their relationship, including how they met. But, the secret came out in March 2022, when designer Tommy Hilfiger announced the couple’s proposal news at the inaugural amfAR Gala Palm Beach event. So, let’s get into more details about their relationship.
Dana Blumberg is Robert Kraft’s Second Wife
Kraft was married to Myra Hyatt Kraft from 1963 until her death to cancer in 2011. Kraft actually got started in business out of Harvard Business School thanks to her father, Jacob Hiatt, and got a job with the Hiatt family company the Rand-Whitney Group in 1968, according to research from Business Insider. Three years after that move, Kraft acquired a minority stake in the company.
Robert Kraft and Wife Dana Blumberg’s First Public Meeting
Even though Kraft and Blumberg likely met in 2017, they weren’t seen together publicly until 2019, when they were spotted attending the French Open tennis Grand Slam tournament, according to a report from People Magazine.
Dr. Dana Blumberg is a board-certified ophthalmologist. “Dr. Blumberg is board certified in Ophthalmology and graduated from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2000. Dr. Blumberg completed a residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland,” Medical News Today reports.
“Ophthalmologists are medical doctors who diagnose and treat severe and complex eye and vision problems, including cataracts, glaucoma and detached retinas,” U.S. News reports. “Their surgeries include laser retina surgery, refractive surgery and lens replacement operations.”

Dana Blumberg Is Deeply Involved in Charity Work
In July 2025, Blumberg introduced her dog-rescue organization, Pawtriots, according to a report from the Boston Herald. You have to admit that’s a cute name and totally fits the New England Patriots brand.
“The first practice under Vrabel resulted in roughly 40 dogs being adopted that day,” Herald reporter Lance Reynolds stated in a piece about the organization. “Fans who came out to support the hometown team, and even rookie kicker Andy Borregales, joined in on the cause, while the head coach brought two pooches to the podium for his news conference. Since then, dozens of other dogs have found permanent homes.”
“Everything is obviously a bit on edge in the Kraft household right now,” Dana Kraft stated in the report. “There is a lot of excitement, but it is always very grounding … like when Robert comes in the door, and the dog is waiting with his squeaky toy, it just changes the whole tone of things.”
