The original championship plans for the recently imploded WWE faction, The Vision, have now been revealed. A new report details the dominant run that was planned for the group before a legitimate injury to Seth Rollins forced a major change in creative direction.
The future for Rollins is currently uncertain after he reportedly suffered a significant shoulder injury during his main event match against Cody Rhodes at the Crown Jewel premium live event. This led to his former stablemates, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, brutally attacking him on the October 13 episode of Monday Night Raw, effectively ending their alliance.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the original plan was for every member of The Vision to be draped in championship gold. The creative direction would have seen the faction completely dominate the Raw brand.
“In addition, there were plans for the Vision to dominate Raw even more very shortly with Rollins as world champion and Reed & Breakker as world tag team champions,” Meltzer wrote. As a result, this is yet another problem for WWE as they will have to change its plans.
This plan would have established the trio as the undisputed top act on Monday nights, with Rollins as the World Heavyweight Champion and his enforcers holding the World Tag Team Championships. However, the injury to Rollins at Crown Jewel forced WWE to pivot dramatically, leading to the shocking betrayal on Raw.

The on-screen angle has now completely shifted the focus for Bron Breakker. After attacking Rollins, he was seen holding the World Heavyweight Championship belt, signaling his intention to pursue the brand’s top prize. This move positions him as a singles competitor rather than a tag team wrestler.
With Seth Rollins now sidelined indefinitely, the World Heavyweight Championship is likely to be vacated. An official announcement regarding the future of the title is expected on the next episode of Monday Night Raw. This sets the stage for a potential tournament or multi-man match to crown a new champion, with new number one contender CM Punk and the newly empowered Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed as the logical top candidates to compete for the vacant championship on the road to Survivor Series: WarGames.
