Singer D4vd reportedly has a tattoo that matches one found on the body of the 15-year-old girl found dead in his car last week.

Authorities have revealed that the girl, later identified as missing Lake Elsinore, California, teen Celeste Rivas, had a tattoo on her right index finger with the letters “Shhh…,” according to a report from TMZ on Wednesday, September 17. D4vd, 20, reportedly has the same tattoo, also located on his right index finger.

Rivas’ mother previously told the outlet that her daughter’s tattoo was in red ink. Rivas was last seen in April 2024 and had been missing for more than a year.

Meanwhile, D4vd’s tattoo is in black. He was first seen with the ink in September 2024, according to the publication.

As TMZ pointed out, the tattoo design was popularized by Rihanna in 2008, when she got the ink on her index finger. Lindsay Lohan, Lily Allen and other stars also have the same tattoo.

Police confirmed to Us Weekly on September 9 that officers had responded to the 1000 block of Mansfield Avenue in Hollywood the previous day “for a foul odor coming from a vehicle at a tow yard.” Detectives responded and found possible human remains inside a Tesla.

Authorities told KTLA that the Tesla was towed from the Hollywood Hills after it was reported abandoned nearly a week ago. The Los Angeles Police Department launched a death investigation after the human remains were discovered at the impound lot.

TMZ and KABC reported that the vehicle is registered in Hempstead, Texas, to David Anthony Burke — a.k.a. D4vd.

However, police told Us, “We do not have information on the vehicle or the owner.”

Us reached out to D4vd’s rep for comment.

In a statement to NBC News, a spokesperson for the musician said he “has been informed about what’s happened, and although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities.”

D4vd, who is known for hits like “Here With Me” and “Romantic Homicide,” has been traveling on his Withered World Tour and has not been in L.A. for more than one month, according to TMZ.

Days before the discovery in the car reportedly registered to D4vd, the singer teased via Instagram on September 6 that he was going to “start media training tomorrow guys wish me luck … ”

The following day, he shared a post about his upcoming album, Withered Deluxe: Marcescence.

“Every song written exclusively by me on my phone baby, this is a passion project i put together to make sure i didn’t lose the raw emotional weight my music carries and how much it means to u all,” D4vd wrote via Instagram. “Thank you to all the friends who collaborated with me on this everyone ATE THEIR VERSES UP ❤️❤️❤️.”
