Good morning and welcome to our live coverage of Tropical Cyclone Narelle as the system tracks south and inland down Western Australia’s coast.

After making landfall in Queensland eight days ago, the cyclone has, for a second time, weakened into a tropical low this morning after tracking east of Kalbarri overnight as a category 2 system.

A red alert remains in place for residents in Mullewa, who must stay indoors as the low passes this morning.

Those further north, including near Coral Bay where the system made landfall as a category 3 on Friday, have just been given the all clear to leave their homes and assess the damage after being ordered to stay indoors for nearly two days.
