Taylor Swift never misses an opportunity to show off a good outfit.
Swift, 35, stepped out in a timeless outfit, retailing for over $24,000, while enjoying a date night with Travis Kelce in New York City on Thursday, November 6. For her romantic evening, Swift rocked a $2,020 black knit sweater by Louis Vuitton, featuring a ribbed silhouette, a boatneck and a delicate gold chain dangling from her collar. The singer styled the number with a black Louis Vuitton wrap skirt ($2,750) and knee-high leather boots, also by the designer, which retail for $1,940.
Swift further accessorized with a Louis Vuitton leather purse ($4,950), lace tights by Fleur Du Mal ($78) and gold jewelry. Along with her diamond engagement ring from Kelce, 36, she wore a Cartier Love bracelet ($9,400) and a diamond wristlet by 100 Ways Jewelry ($2,950).
For glam, she rocked a full beat including dewy foundation, winged eyeliner, blushed cheeks, long lashes and, of course, her signature red lip. Swift twisted her blonde hair into an updo with her bangs blown out over her forehead.
The most expensive part of Swift’s ensemble was her engagement ring, which jewelry expert Nilesh Rakholia told Us Weekly could be worth an estimated $950,000 to $1,270,000. “The stone itself looks to be easily in the 7–10 carat range, which immediately places it among the most iconic celebrity engagement rings,” he said.
Kelce, for his part, looked sharp on their date night in a burgundy corduroy jacket and matching cargo pants. He completed his look with a black T-shirt and layered necklaces, as well as dark sneakers.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end held his fiancée’s hand while they walked out of a restaurant in NoHo.
The couple announced their engagement via Instagram in August. Swift opened up about her ring while chatting with the U.K.’s Heart radio station in October after the release of her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl.
“He designed it with this amazing jeweler, Kindred Lubeck,” she said, noting that the designer “does all of her gold engraving by hand.”
“I had shown him a video [that] I just thought was so cool,” she added. “I had shown him a video a year and a half ago, and he was just paying attention to everything, it turns out!”
Swift continued, ”I saw the ring, I was just, like, [gasping]. I was like, ‘I know who made that! I know who made that! And also, you listen to me.’ He did amazing, it was like, ‘You really know me.’”
The Grammy winner added that she “didn’t know” what type of engagement ring she wanted and put her trust in Kelce, gushing, “He did somehow, and that’s kind of a flex.”
Swift and Kelce started dating in the summer of 2023 after he gave her a shout-out on his “New Heights” podcast. They made their relationship public when she cheered him on at a Chiefs football game that fall.
