Saturn, our daddy planet of tough love and hard knocks, is finally stationing direct in Pisces.

The lord of the Rings has been retrograde since July, a transit that has shifted the structure of our lives and turned bedrock to mud, muck, and mire.

Saturn stations direct at 25° Pisces on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, late in the evening, a directional shift that some astrologers equate to leftovers with emotional homework.

“Saturn’s direct station in Pisces is the moment the emotional fog lifts just enough for us to see what growing up really cost — and why it was worth it,” Rachel Ruth Tate, certified astrologer at Casinos Analyzer, told The Post.

While the planet doesn’t end its retrograde until late in the evening, the effects of this shift will be felt throughout the day and the days ahead.

The end of this retrograde will influence our thoughts, words, and behaviors as we pull up a chair at the colonizing table of this, the most fraught of national feast days.

However, Tate says if we allow it, Saturn’s direct motion can smooth the edges of our familiar, familial, shrapnel.

“Saturn’s direct station is asking us to make peace where there is grief and find grace for any hard feelings. Saturn in Pisces teaches us that life’s most profound wisdom is earned and comes at a cost. The word ‘compassion’ — a Piscean virtue — comes from the Latin compati, meaning “to suffer with,” shared Tate.

She explained that Saturn’s cycles represent the natural impact of time, loss, and aging.

“Saturn’s rings are pieces of the planet that have broken off, like shavings from the marble block beneath the sculptor’s chisel. The cosmic architect always has a plan… and astrology gives us insight into those promised lessons and blessings.”

While Saturn’s direct motion will bring sweet relief to one and all, four zodiac signs will feel the blessed lift of unwelcome weight most of all.

Daddy Saturn has spent what feels like an eternity in your pastel punch bowl and first house of the self, Pisces, a span of time that feels as oppressive as it is formative.

However, as Tate explained, the tough love and long lesson are nearing their end.

“Don’t worry, this direct station will be the last one you experience in your own sign for about three decades. Now is the time for absorbing your last big lessons in emotional maturity, self-regulation, and personal responsibility. Lean in, take care, and keep growing up,” she said/

“When the slow-moving ruler of your stoic sign stations direct from a soft, aligned sign sextile to your own, there is a great opportunity for personal integration and responsible stewardship of your feelings into more useful forms,” said Tate.

She shared that Saturn’s direct motion in your third house of communication and exchange primes you for conversations that can leave a lasting impression and foster unforetold intimacy, particularly with siblings or a mother figure.

“Choose your words wisely, Capricorn, and have the maturity to forgive.”

Saturn’s long hold on your second house of wealth and worth may have translated to earning less than you need and feeling less than you are, Aquarius.

“If you’ve had trouble finding or keeping work, this direct station represents the beginning of the end of the problem. If you’ve been sidelined with mental, emotional, or other health issues, Saturn’s station may represent the dawning of an ultimate solution. Believe in yourself and don’t give up,” said Tate.

Saturn’s stayover in your sixth house of rituals, the body, habits, and toil has likely been more of a walk in the dark than a walk in the park for you, Libra.

“If these last few years have featured major health issues, lots of caregiving, or just seriously hard daily work… trust Saturn’s direct station marks the final few months of your heavy lifting before things lighten up,” assured Tate.

“As this serious planet shifts directions from a somewhat awkward quincunx aspect, give yourself grace and remember that balance can feel different at different times in your life. Now is not forever, but it is the beginning of it.”
