Two men and a woman have all been charged with murder after police discovered the body of a missing 33-year-old man in Perth bushland on Sunday.

Police have been searching for Jayden Stewart Selfe since May, storming an Attadale home along Money Road, where it is believed he had lived for several years, on Sunday afternoon after searching bushland north-east of Wanneroo.

Detectives say they had located Selfe’s body within the bushland search area and took three people into custody, officially charging them on Monday morning.

A 42-year-old man from Banksia Grove, a 40-year-old man from Attadale and a 39-year-old woman from Attadale have each been charged with one count of murder.

They have been remanded in custody and will appear before Perth Magistrates Court on Monday.

Selvendra David, a neighbour to the property on Money Road, told 9 News Perth he had heard the police cars and knew something was happening.

“It worries us, it would be good to know what really happened and I hope we will get to know the full story,” he said.

Police Minister Reece Whitby was questioned over the renewed police presence on Sunday and said that police were throwing “all of the resources they can into investigating that man’s disappearance”.
