Ooh, burn.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville roasted Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer over his Father’s Day grill fail, calling him out for “communism” for attempting to cook on a gas grill in the first place.

The college football coach-turned-politician sassed Schumer — who went viral for posting a snap on Sunday showing him grilling a raw burger with a slice of cold cheese on top — during an interview Tuesday on “The Benny Show.”

“First of all, he’s cooking on a gas grill. In the South, we call that communism,” sniped Tuberville. “I cook with regular coal — lump coal and applewood chips.”

“I’ve been up here almost four years,” he added, referring to the Senate. “I’ve never spoken a word to Chuck Schumer.”

Schumer quickly deleted the much-ridiculed photo, taken at his daughter’s house.

“Our family has lived in an apartment building for all our years, but my daughter and her wife just bought a house with a backyard and for the first time we’re having a barbecue with hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill!” Schumer, 73, wrote in the since-deleted X post.

Tuberville continued to rip Schumer’s nonexistent chef skills.

“He’s trying to show people that hey, he’s just an average guy that goes up and cooks and all that — you can tell he’s never cooked in his life,” he said.

Conservative host Benny Johnson suggested they film a how-to grill video, prompting Tuberville to crack, “what we could do is invite him.”

“He wouldn’t know the difference between a hot dog and a hamburger patty — I’ll tell you right now,” added the former head football coach at Auburn University, the University of Mississippi, Texas Tech University, and the University of Cincinnati.

Schumer and Tuberville have clashed in the past. Last year, the Alabama senator mounted a blanket hold on efforts to fast-track military promotions and nominations while protesting a Pentagon abortion policy.

The majority leader chafed with Tuberville over that blockade, as did some of his fellow Republicans as well. By last December, Tuberville relented on his nearly 11-month blanket hold.

The Post contacted Schumer’s office for comment.
