UFC Schedule For June - UFC 303: McGregor Vs. Chandler And More

On Monday, the UFC postponed a scheduled press conference for UFC 303. However, that pay-per-view event, which takes place on June 29 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is still on. That fight card, which is headlined by a welterweight clash between former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler, closes out a busy month of June for the UFC.

The promotion began the month with UFC 302 on June 1. In the main event of that PPV card, UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev retained his crown with a fifth-round submission win over Dustin Poirier.

UFC Louisville

This Saturday, June 8, the UFC is in Louisville, Kentucky for a card that is headlined by former UFC middleweight title challenger Jared Cannonier and Nassourdine Imavov. Cannonier is the No. 4 fighter in the official UFC middleweight rankings, while Imavov checks in at No. 8.

In the co-main event, former light heavyweight title challenger Dominick Reyes looks to end a four-fight losing skid against Dustin Jacoby, who is 1-3 in his past four outings.

The UFC Louisville card kicks off with prelims at 5:00 p.m. ET, while the main card begins at 8:00 p.m. ESPN will broadcast the entire card.

UFC Vegas 93

The UFC heads back to the UFC Apex on Saturday, June 15, for a UFC Fight Night event in Las Vegas. That card, UFC Vegas 93 features a flyweight bout in the headlining spot. In that scrap, former UFC flyweight title challenger Alex Perez meets the rising Tatsuro Taira.

Perez ended a three-fight losing skid in his latest outing, beating Matheus Nicolau via knockout. Taira sports a perfect 15-0 record. He is coming off a TKO win over Carlos Hernandez.

Perez is the No. 5 ranked UFC flyweight, while Taira is the No. 13 125-pounder.

The main card of UFC Vegas 93 is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2 following prelims on ESPN2 at 4:00 p.m.

UFC on ABC 6

The UFC is back in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on June 22 for a UFC on ABC fight card. The headlining contest of that event sees former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker against the much-hyped Khamzat Chimaev.

Whittaker is the No. 3 UFC middleweight, while Chimaev is No. 10 in the 185-pound division. Whittaker is 3-2 in his past five outings with his most recent fight being a February decision win over ex-UFC title challenger Paulo Costa. Chimaev is a perfect 13-0 as a pro. His most recent win was a majority decision win over former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman in a middleweight scrap in October.

In the co-main event of UFC on ABC 6, Sergei Pavlovich looks to bounce back from a November knockout loss to Tom Aspinall in a UFC interim heavyweight title fight. Pavlovich, who was on a six-fight winning streak ahead of that matchup, faces Alexander Volkov, who is riding a three-fight winning streak.

UFC on ABC 6 opens with prelims on ESPN prelims at 12:00 p.m. ET. The main card follows on ABC at 3:00 p.m.

UFC 303

The UFC closes out June with the UFC 303 pay-per-view card. That event, as mentioned above, is headlined by Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler. The promotion postponed the scheduled UFC 303 pre-fight press conference on the day of the event.
