Micah Plath experienced a roller coaster of emotions during the Welcome to Plathville season 7 finale, culminating in his split from Veronica Peters.

After getting into a fight with his brother Isaac Plath off camera, Micah, 24, had a come-to-Jesus moment with his family and Veronica during the Tuesday, September 30, episode.

“Kind of feels like Veronica just kept, you know, pouring lighter fluid on a whole bunch of different stuff and tempting me to light it,” Micah told the cameras. “The truth always comes out, and nothing stays [a] secret forever.”

Veronica, for her part, refused to apologize for her actions — including claiming Ethan Plath’s girlfriend Teegan Nichols had an OnlyFans account — and admitted to talking behind Micah’s mom Kim Plath’s back.

As a result, Micah told her point blank, “We are done,” and decided to drive with his brothers to Boca Raton, Florida, to retrieve his items from their shared home.

TLC revealed during the episode that Micah was “accompanied by a police officer” to regain possession of his belongings, while producers escorted Veronica back to their house alone.

Two days later, Micah was back with his family and reflected on the highs and lows of his and Veronica’s explosive relationship. He confessed, “After I started going through the garage and getting the last of my stuff, it really hit me. I just broke down. I couldn’t help it.”

Micah’s family, however, expressed happiness at the tumultuous relationship coming to an end — especially because they claimed Veronica was spewing lies about them.

“Veronica is saying that me, Micah and Isaac had left her abandoned on the side of the road. Yeah, absolutely not true,” Ethan, 27, said during the finale. “She’s accused my family of abusing animals, which is not true. She’s accused my family of incest, which is absolutely not true.”

He alleged, “All she is trying to do is find anything that would make someone look bad and spread it out there.”

Micah, meanwhile, said he wasn’t going to let Veronica’s allegations get to him.

“I don’t think there’s a need to entertain that stuff. I think most people can easily read through that,” Micah said, before claiming Veronica “acts like she’s anti-bullying, but she sure does it herself.”

He added, “I think trying to heal, trying to get over it is going to be much easier for me if I don’t look at all that stuff.”

Micah’s dad, Barry Plath, also weighed in on his son’s breakup, telling the cameras, “I’ve never said that she’s a liar. I’ve just noticed that she may have embellished the narrative. Then I just started to realize she’s proven she’s a liar.”

Prior to the season 7 finale, Veronica and Micah weathered many storms. They sought couples counseling throughout the TLC season and Micah confessed to cheating on Veronica when they were dating long distance.

Veronica quietly announced in July that she and Micah had broken up, just weeks before Welcome to Plathville‘s latest season premiered. “So, they did it. They broke me,” she said via an Instagram video at the time, hinting that Micah’s family played a part in the demise of their relationship.

Us Weekly previously reached out to Micah and TLC for comment regarding Veronica’s claims.
