A woman has been hospitalised after an army truck partially crushed her car during a traffic crash in Brisbane’s north on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Samford Road, near Baden Lane, about 3.25pm, to reports between two and three vehicles had crashed along the busy route.
They arrived to find the woman’s car had been struck by one army truck, which had then rolled over and off the road.

Fire crews had to use a hydraulic press to remove the car door to remove the woman from her car, allowing paramedics to treat her at the scene.
She suffered non-life-threatening wounds, including a laceration to her head and minor chest injuries, and was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Paramedics and police said the three occupants of the army truck were not physically injured.
Police advised motorists the road had been closed in both sections near the location of the crash.
Ferny Hills sits north of the Gallipoli Barracks, in Enoggera, which houses about 7,000 Australian Defence Force personnel, including the Seventh Brigade.
