After getting caught and called out for being nursed by his feline sister, a cat’s reaction left viewers on TikTok in stitches.

Now, before you think it’s unusual that a male cat turned to his sister for nursing, it’s important to note how it happened. John and his sister Willow were born to the same mother, but are from different litters, owner Courtney Tamborello-Lewis told Newsweek. Willow is older and became pregnant at the same time as her mother. John was born about five weeks before Willow’s kittens arrived.

“…The owner who reserved John had also reserved a kitten from Willow’s litter so he had to wait to leave for Colorado when the other kitten was old enough,” Tamborello-Lewis explained.

During this time, Willow became a mother-like figure to John as his mother was recovering from her spay operation. Plus, being surrounded by all of Willow’s kitties made him regress. But Willow didn’t mind. She welcomed him in with the rest of her kittens as they all came to her for nursing at once, which can be seen in a TikTok video posted by @courtneyhasalotofcats on May 21.

However, Tamborello-Lewis couldn’t help herself and called John out. In the video, she can be heard saying, “John, it’s weird.” Annoyed she even mentioned it, he shot her a dirty glare. Nothing was going to stop him from doing what he wanted.

Tamborello-Lewis also mentioned to Willow in the video that she could eventually tell her kittens “no” and that she didn’t have to nurse them forever. It was her way of offering positivity to Willow as the kittens piled on top. Luckily, Willow didn’t seem to mind.

“A few times we did pull Willow from the nursery thinking she wanted a break but she would sit at the door crying to go back with her kittens,” Tamborello-Lewis said. “She’s an amazing mother, we love her here.”

“John really thought no one would notice,” commented one TikTok user.

Another added: “John looking like, ‘Worry about yourself.'”

A third wrote: “Way to throw John under the bus.”

A fourth user jokingly posted: “I thought John looked bigger than the rest.”
