‘Wonder Man’ Release Date: When Does the New Marvel Series Premiere?

Wonder Man stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, a struggling actor in Hollywood. His big break comes in the form of the lead role in a fictional superhero film — also called Wonder Man. There’s one issue, though: Simon has superpowers he’d like to keep secret. How will his newfound fame and the politics of Hollywood impact his real superhero identity? 

Things are about to get meta in this new MCU show.

Joining Abdul-Mateen II is Ben Kingsley, who steps into the comedic role of has-been actor Trevor Slattery. Rounding out the rest of the cast are Zlatco Buric, Demetrius Grosse, Lauren Glazier and Byron Bowers. The show was created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest.

When to watch Wonder Man

All eight episodes of the first season of Wonder Man will drop on Disney Plus on Tuesday at 6 p.m. PT.
