To local court news overnight now and a Perth doctor has been charged with indecently assaulting a woman during a medical procedure.
Police allege the 58-year-old doctor, who was specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology, assaulted the woman during a procedure he was helping with in February 2022.
The Canning Vale man has been charged with one count of unlawful and indecent assault.
He will face Rockingham Magistrates Court later today.
And West Coast recruit Tyler Brockman has been charged in relation to a crash that occurred near Geraldton earlier this month.

WA Police allege the 21-year-old, who was in the regional town for a family funeral, fled on foot after crashing his ute into a light post while trying to negotiate a roundabout on May 4. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
He has been charged with careless driving, failing to report an incident and failing to stop.
The Eagles, in a statement earlier this month, said they were aware of the incident.
“Tyler’s personal circumstances are complex, and the club will prioritise his health and wellbeing ahead of any return to playing football,” it said.
“The club has informed the AFL regarding this incident, and we await the outcome of the police investigation before making any further comment.”
