It had been a difficult two-week stretch for Aaron Judge.
While the New York Yankees superstar got off to a tremendous start this season, his last RBI entering Sunday came on May 10, and he had gone 11 games without a home run.
However, after recording a single in the bottom of the first inning, things appeared to shift for Judge. With the game tied 0-0 in the bottom of the ninth, he stepped to the plate and snapped his home run drought with a walk-off two-run blast that lifted the Yankees to a 2-0 victory.

Judge was interviewed after the game and thanked the New York Yankees fans who stayed through the low-scoring game and rainy conditions.
“Man, what a roar, what a roar. I appreciate y’all staying,” Judge said after receiving a loud ovation from the crowd. “I know it was some bad weather.”
Moments later, his teammates celebrated by drenching him with water and a Gatorade bath.
After hitting the fourth walk-off home run of his career, Judge closed the interview by saying, “This day was made for a Yankee… there’s nothing better. I’ve been trying to get something going here… Just get something over the heart of the plate and don’t try to do too much.”
