WNBA star Caitlin Clark will have her image featured on Josh Berry’s Stewart-Haas car during this weekend’s NASCAR Brickyard 400 at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Clark has now shared her excitement for the unexpected collaboration, stating, as quoted by Bro Bible:

“Never did I ever think I would appear on a race car, honestly I grew up watching NASCAR…I was kind of a big fan growing up and now to be on a car, is super cool.

“I was like, ‘Oh my gosh! Is this real? I want to drive the car. So, sometime maybe I have to take a spin, but it’s super cool… Hopefully it brings good vibes and we get the dub.”

The specially designed Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Team No. 4 showcases a vibrant paint scheme featuring Clark in her University of Iowa No. 22 jersey, capturing a moment where she’s shooting a basketball, alongside her name and the phrase “Raining 3s”. The striking design was proudly introduced by Stewart-Haas Racing on social media.

A look at Caitlin Clark’s background reveals why her feature on a NASCAR car is not just a promotional stunt but a celebration of her astonishing talent. A collegiate basketball powerhouse at Iowa, she dominated the courts to become a two-time AP Player of the Year among other titles and set records as the NCAA’s Division I all-time scoring leader and leader in 3-pointers made. Transitioning to professional basketball, Clark continued to impress, swiftly garnering accolades including becoming the first WNBA rookie to record certain milestones, such as a triple-double in a game.

Josh Berry, the NASCAR driver of the No. 4 car, will start the race from 37th position on the grid.
