Chris Hemsworth has starred in multi-million dollar franchises and been appointed a Member of the Order of Australia, but he apparently had one more dream still to achieve. The actor, 40, joked in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) that he’d finally been able to follow his passion for hairdressing by giving a trim to his twin sons. “Hairdressing has always been my one true passion and as you can see the results speak for themselves,” he wrote, accompanying the post with some crying laughing emojis.
The post featured a still image and a video of his two sons, Sasha and Tristan, age 10, sporting some rather choppy haircuts. In the video, one of the twins did a 360 spin to show off his cool new undercut while Hemsworth announced that the haircut was “Siiiick.” Hemsworth’s son seemed happy with his new ‘do, announcing that it “looks lit.” In the photo, the two boys sat side-by-side in a bakery, showing off their matching coiffures.
Hemsworth and his wife, model Elsa Pataky, have three children. Their daughter India, 12, apparently did not agree to a haircut from her dad. The comments on X ranged from affectionate to savage, with some fans saying that the boys looked “cute” or “cool.” One user even said that she was inspired to emulate the look on her own sons. The rest of the online community was a bit less supportive.
One Hemsworth follower joked, “Don’t quit your day job Chris!”
Another referenced Hemsworth’s “brother” from the MCU, declaring, “You took Loki’s revenge on your kids.”
In a joke that referenced a Deadpool & Wolverine Easter Egg, a few replies insisted that this haircut was the reason why Thor was “crying” in the future of the MCU.
