Dr. Go Young-sang, Chief Director of Baus Clinic in Cheongdam, Seoul, has been officially appointed as a Key Doctor for Sofwave, a global ultrasound-based lifting device.

At the recently held ‘Sofwave Master Summit 2026,’ Dr. Go was selected as a recipient in three categories — Key Opinion Leader, Epic Provider, and Rising Excellence. According to the clinic, the awards recognize his extensive clinical experience with Sofwave treatments, advanced device utilization skills, and ability to deliver stable and refined treatment outcomes.

The ‘Key Opinion Leader’ category is presented to physicians who actively participate in educational and advisory activities based on their deep understanding of the device and clinical expertise. ‘Epic Provider’ recognizes practitioners with extensive procedural experience and consistent clinical outcomes, while ‘Rising Excellence’ highlights physicians acknowledged for their clinical growth potential and treatment proficiency.

Dr. Go has already been actively recognized as a KOL (Key Opinion Leader) both domestically and internationally through ongoing academic activities. In particular, he has demonstrated expertise in energy-based medical devices including Onda Lifting and JUVGEN, participating in various global conferences and seminars while continuously conducting research based on the latest academic papers and clinical data. He also actively engages in academic exchanges and educational activities with fellow medical professionals, further strengthening the clinic’s vision as an academically driven medical institution.

Sofwave utilizes SUPERB™ ultrasound technology to deliver energy precisely to the mid-dermis at approximately 1.5 mm depth, stimulating collagen and elastin production. The device is designed to minimize surface damage while precisely targeting the dermal layer, helping improve skin firmness and skin texture with natural-looking lifting effects.

Dr. Go Young-sang of Baus Clinic stated, “Sofwave is a lifting device that requires a delicate and personalized approach depending on each patient’s skin type and elasticity condition. Moving forward, we will continue striving to provide more natural and satisfying lifting outcomes tailored to individual skin conditions through accumulated clinical experience and ongoing research.”
