A light aircraft has crashed south of Brisbane, sparking a grass fire.

Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the crash site along Musch Road in the Logan suburb of Stockleigh just after 11am on Monday.

The Beechcraft A36 Bonanza crashed 18 minutes after taking off from Brisbane’s Archerfield airport, according to FlightRadar24 records.

A Queensland ambulance spokesperson said they were yet to assess any patients.
