Katherine Dale Kelly, 24, of Cocoa, told investigators she was trying to “make a point” after believing her boyfriend, Elijah Baker, was cheating on her again, according to a police report obtained by the Space Coast Daily.
She was charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, firing a gun into a vehicle and using a firearm while committing a felony, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
