Police have released an image of a man they say may be able to assist with investigations into the alleged assault of a boy in inner Brisbane.
Officers believe an adult male became involved in a verbal altercation with a boy on a bike track along Herston Road between 11am and 12pm on Saturday, May 30.
They allege he then assaulted the boy.
The man was described as about 40 years old, with a fair complexion, medium build and medium height.
No further details on the nature of the alleged assault were provided by investigators.
There are bike routes through Victoria Park (Barrambin), which is adjacent to Herston Road. It also contains a pump track.
Police appealed for the man, anyone who recognised him or anyone with relevant information to come forward.
