Kelsey Anderson opened up about how Joey Graziadei‘s new gig on The Traitors has affected the timeline of their upcoming wedding.
“We locked in our welcome party venue, which was so exciting. We did it right before Joey left for The Traitors,” Kelsey, 28, exclusively told Us at Variety’s 2026 Power of Women: Los Angeles Event Presented by Lifetime on Wednesday, September 23. “But now we’re kind of paused because Joey is filming [and has] no phone access.”
Kelsey and Joey, 31, got “so much done” to plan their big day before he left for Scotland.
“Then a lot of the nitty gritty things come closer [to the date], where we’re tasting the food and all of that. But it’s been really exciting,” she gushed. “Honestly, Joey is the bridezilla in this duo. It’s just that he is very definitive, and a lot of times, I’m like, ‘Ah, you know. It’s like this or that, whatever. I don’t really care. As long as you’re there.’”
She continued: “He’s like, ‘No, the welcome party has got to be a banger because that’s how we’re starting off the weekend.’ And I’m like, ‘OK, period. Then let’s do it.’ Literally. I just wanted it be, like the best party ever and I just want to be able to take in every single moment.”
Despite the wedding planning snag, Kelsey is excited for Joey’s latest challenge. “I can’t believe it,” she told Us. “I feel like he had little jitters because you don’t know if you’re a Traitor or a Faithful going into it. You don’t know until you get there at the round table.”
Along with the former Bachelor, the season 6 cast of The Traitors features Kristin Chenoweth, Whitney Leavitt, Craig Conover, Bronwyn Newport, Cody Simpson and more stars from reality TV and beyond. According to Kelsey, her soon-to-be husband was a “little nervous” going into the experience.
“But I think that I tried to instill in him a lot of confidence,” she said. “I’m like, ‘You got this. You’ve already won one show [Dancing With the Stars] and you won The Bachelor, pretty much, because you got me. So it’s like, [you’ve done] two. This is the third. You got it.’”
Earlier this month, Joey spoke with Us about exploring new career options after winning season 33 of DWTS and making his acting debut on RJ Decker.
“This is going to be my first time that people get to see me do a little bit of something different in scenes. I did 9-1-1 for ABC back in the day a little bit, during my [Bachelor] season, but I played myself,” he told Us. “So this is the first time I’m playing a pickpocketer. I get to steal from people and I get to deliver a line or two. Hopefully people like to see me in this light because it’s been a lot of fun.”
Joey made it clear he was dreaming big about what could be next.
“ABC, if you want to toss me in Grey’s Anatomy, I will join,” he quipped. “But I’m open to honestly whatever. This has been new jumping over to the scripted side, and it’s been really fun. I’ve enjoyed trying to be a character. I’ve enjoyed this idea of trying to remember lines and try to be someone different. There are similarities and some familiarity with being behind the camera already with reality, but it was also so different.”
The Traitors returns to Peacock in early 2027.
