WA Police have charged a man after he allegedly indecently assaulted a teenage girl in Harrisdale, in Perth’s south-east, on Thursday.
Child abuse squad detectives spent Friday hunting the man, who they allege assaulted the girl about 3.25pm that afternoon.
“Yesterday, Saturday 19 October 2024, Child Abuse Squad detectives sought the assistance of Geraldton Detectives, who travelled to a business worksite located in the Mid-West Gascoyne District and arrested a 31-year-old man from Harrisdale,” police said in a statement.
The man was refused bail and is due to appear in Perth Magistrate Court, via a remote link on Sunday.
