You know her as Dean’s wife on “Gilmore Girls” and Stefan’s 350-year-old bestie on “The Vampire Diaries,” but Arielle Kebbel is now part of the Taylor Sheridan multiverse as US Marshal Belle Skinner on CBS’ “Marshals” (the most-watched new TV show of the season). “She’s a cowgirl at heart, who grew up riding horses, loves Montana, struggles with her family history and has a deep longing for justice,” says Kebbel, 41, who does her own riding stunts on the show. Belle is known for being a badass equestrian — not a fashionista. But one of her character’s accessories has stolen Kebbel’s heart: a ring nearly identical to a family heirloom bequeathed to her. “My great-uncle Oscar — who lived to be 96 — gave me my great-grandma’s wedding band from 1910,” says the Florida-born actor. “He pulled it out of his shirt pocket and chucked it across the table to me at the local American Legion fish fry. My jaw hit the floor. I’ve carried the ring with love and protection ever since.” Here’s how Kebbel achieves her unbridled chic.
