Netflix’s 2026 Upfronts are underway, bringing updates on key programming, including sports. On Wednesday, the streamer announced it will broadcast a live Thanksgiving Eve game between the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams.
The Nov. 25 game will be the NFL’s first-ever match-up on the day before Thanksgiving, according to a Netflix release. It’ll also be one of five total NFL games on Netflix this upcoming season. The slate also includes livestreaming of the NFL’s first-ever regular season showdown in Australia on Sept. 10 between the Rams and the San Francisco 49ers.
Netflix will continue to show two games on Christmas Day, at 1 p.m. ET and 4:30 p.m. ET, and it will add a Week 18 game on Jan. 9 at 1 p.m. ET. Fans will also be able to watch the NFL Honors awards presentation during Super Bowl week on the platform.
Netflix’s NFL coverage will be available in more than 200 countries. Some of its content will air outside of the streaming service on local, over-the-air broadcast television in the respective team markets.
