Lotto Dstny’s Alec Segaert produced a dominant display to win stage 2 of the Renewi Tour, finishing comfortably in first in a blistering time trial. He finished with a remarkable time of 16:59 in Tessenderlo, seven seconds clear of Ineos Grenadiers’ Magnus Sheffield. Stefan Bissegger of EF Education-EasyPost rounded off the front three, while Tobias Foss was fourth.
