According to Roseanne Barr, Michael Jackson was Lisa Marie Presley’s “number one” in the sack.
“She said he was the best lay she ever had,” Barr, 73, claimed during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published on Tuesday, October 20. “I’m not [lying]. She said he was the best lay and he had it going on. She said he told her all the things girls want to hear.”
Barr’s recollection of her conversation with the late Presley, who died in 2023 at the age of 54, also claimed that the former wife of Jackson, who died in 2009 at the age of 50, “never lied about s*** like that.” She also disclosed an alleged conversation about another celebrity’s manhood.
“She told me about Nicolas Cage and his business. She told me everybody she was with and their business, the size of it and the use and all of it,” Barr told the outlet. “[Jackson] was number one.” (Presley and Jackson were married from May 1994 to August 1996.)
The actress added that she formed a close friendship with Presley in the 1990s, and also hung out with Sandra Bernhard and Madonna.
The interview provided other fascinating claims as Barr promoted her new self-financed TV show, Meemaw: A Modern Day Fable, which has not been slated for release on any network at the time of publication. (The project marks eight years since ABC fired Barr and canceled her Roseanne reboot following a racist social media post shared by the actress regarding former Barack Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett.)
One of the claims categorically disputed Chuck Lorre’s recent memoir claim over alleged script writing that was incorrectly attributed to Barr’s ex Tom Arnold. Arnold, 67, who also starred as Barr’s husband on Roseanne, denied the claims made by Lorre, 74.
“Unbelievably — I don’t think you’ll hear me say this often — but Tom Arnold is telling the truth for once. Talk about the paradigm switch here. Tom Arnold is defending me. I have to thank him for that. That’s the first time he’s done something right by me in his f***ing life. Thanks, Tom,” Barr told the outlet. (The former couple married in 1990 and Barr filed for divorce four years later citing irreconcilable differences.)
The outlet also spoke to Barr about her Meemaw costar Randy Quaid, whom the actress has evidently grown fond of. “I’m in love with him, and I wish he would leave his wife and marry me,” Barr joked. “I enjoyed making out with him so much that I wrote extra scenes where we would make out.” (Quaid, 76, has been married to Evi Quaid since 1989.)
Barr also claimed that she reached out to Elon Musk to help fund her TV show, but was yet to receive a response. “I don’t know why he hasn’t called me or returned my calls. I mean, of all people on earth, I’m the one he should call, but I don’t know,” she quipped.
