New York Knicks fans have traveled well throughout the 2026 NBA playoffs, taking over arenas in Philadelphia and Cleveland as the Knicks notched back-to-back series sweeps over the 76ers and Cavaliers.
Now, a significant number of Knicks faithful have made the trip to San Antonio for the first two games of the NBA Finals.
“Let’s Go Knicks!” chants and “MVP” chants for Jalen Brunson rang through San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center as the Knicks secured a 105-95 win over the Spurs in Game 1.
Second-year Spurs guard Stephon Castle addressed the Knicks’ fan presence when speaking to reporters on Thursday.
“I don’t want any fans from any team to have a good night in our arena,” Castle said. “They were loud, but I think our fans showed out as well. I don’t think we executed on winning the game. They had the right to celebrate.”
