Ross Lyon has rubbished claims St Kilda is preparing a $25 million, 12-year mega deal to lure Harley Reid away from the West Coast Eagles.
Speaking on Footy Classified last night, the coach insisted he’s never spoken to the Eagles gun in his life.

“The CEO, Don Pyke, who we all love and respect, is frustrated at their end, for whatever reason for Harley and negotiations, so clearly they think there’s something out in the ether that’s getting in their way, well, it certainly isn’t me,” he said.
It follows talk of Harley fielding $2 million-a-season offers, and a claim by Essendon legend Tim Watson that St Kilda were in the mix.
It’s understood the 20-year-old has had contract offers from the Eagles in front of him since April.
He is contracted to West Coast until the end of next season.
