Think flip-flops are only for frolicking around in at the beach or for a post-pedicure jaunt? Think again. According to stylish celebrities, the shoe of the summer is a luxe flip-flop that’s meant to be dressed up. And get this, the trending pair will cost you a cool $650. (Yes, really.)
The investment flip-flops in question are a discrete thong style by The Row, which have been embraced by stars such as Zoe Kravitz and sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Called simply the “Beach Flip-Flop,” the style launched quietly this season, and comes in dyed rubber colorways including black, white, or clear.

Just today, while on vacation in Rome, Kylie Jenner paired her clear flip-flops with a denim Marni dress. Earlier this month, Zoe Kravitz paired her clear blue flip-flops with a plaid shirt and wide-leg trousers. Kendall Jenner has also worn her black pair with a classic tee and jeans.
