A wrong-way Mercedes driver came within inches of pancaking an NYPD detective before smashing into an Audi and sending it flying into a deli in trendy Brooklyn on Sunday, terrifying footage shows.

The 24-year-old suspect was flooring his white luxury vehicle down Henry street in Carroll Gardens — just steps away from an NYPD stationhouse — when he missed a detective by inches and slammed into the other car, police said.

The other vehicle, a black Audi, was pushed up the curb and sent flying into a corner deli, shattering its windows, according to surveillance footage obtained by The Post.

The detective who was nearly struck then rushed in to help officers arrest the rogue driver at the scene.

“We just heard a huge brake. … All of a sudden, I saw a car flying and hit my store,” said Khalid Sarsour, the 63-year-old owner of the damaged Garden Gourmet Deli and Grill, to The Post.

“I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep because of some of the trauma,” the rattled owner said before sweeping up the shattered glass outside his store.

EMTs transported the Audi driver and a young woman in a passenger seat in the Mercedes to the hospital in stable condition. There were no other injuries.

Police are still investigating the incident.
